Aintree Grand National Winner David Mullins & more at the Royal Dublin Horse Show 2016
The 2016 RDS Dublin Horse Show was a whirlwind of a week, thank you to all who visited the PC Racewear stand. It's always great to meet our customers and friends alike, and there was plenty of fun to be had at the fair too!
The racing simulator needed box rest after the 5 days of the show! None more so than after the outstanding ride and fantastic on board commentary from Tiernan Lillis as seen below:
We were also thrilled to have none other than the 2016 Aintree Grand National Winning Jockey David Mullins also on hand to put future National Riders through their paces.

Good luck to WP Mullins at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival 2015!
Running from Saturday 26th - Tuesday 29th December, the Leopardstown Christmas Festival at Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin is a festive highlight in the Irish horse racing calendar.
The champion national hunt trainer WP Mullins will be topping off a wonderful year of success by competing in a number of grade one races at the four day festival.
PC Racewear are very pleased to have had the opportunity to collaborate with WP Mullins recently in launching the WP Mullins Collection of outdoor and equestrian clothing for the legendary trainer.

Interview: Jack Goodchild wins a place at The British Racing School!

PC Racewear are very pleased to announce that one of our sponsored jockeys - the talented young horse rider - Jack Goodchild has been selected for entry into the prestigious British Racing School!
The British Racing School in Newmarket in the UK was established over 30 years ago and is now recognised as a centre of excellence for training horse riders to be tomorrow's racings greats! Jack was telling us that over 1,000 people applied for places at the school and he is thrilled to have been offered a place.
Originally from Rhydyfelin in Wales, 16 year old Jack has ridden horses since the age of 6. He had his own horse for a few years, and continued riding with the local club - Rheidol Riding Centre where he competed in events such as show jumping and dressage. Once the opportunity arose to apply to The British Racing School, Jack did so straight away and got an opportunity to try out in December 2014 when he went for interview as well as a series of fitness tests.
"I love horse racing and always have! My ambition's are to become a professional race horse jockey and trainer and compete in big races."
Unusually for a horse racing jockey, Jack is 6ft tall and weights in at 10 stone.
"I'm very slim and tall and many people have asked me am I too tall to train as a jockey? but they are wrong, it's not about the height, it's all about the weight!"
Horse racing legend, Frankie Dettori is an inspiration:
"He is a committed sportsman, who had to struggle to keep his weight in check for racing, but did it because horse racing was his dream and it meant everything to him - and its means everything to me too!"
